My brothers and sisters, in the One True faith(which is in Christ), have bought a bill of goods that are no good. It goes like this. Christians are suppose to be genital, nice, not hurting someones feelings, push overs, and always happy to see each other like as seeing long lost son. This is disingenuous and off putting and all of the World know it. No one cared what American Idol judge Paula Abdul had to say about the preformance. No one. It's just noise. Flowery noise.
Now the natural inclination of an arguer is to take the extreme on the next scale. "Oh so we should curse and slander each other." No. How do we treat our blood relation? Do we put up with their crap? Do we always do what they say? Do we call them out for acting foolish? Do we jest? Is there not a big difference between how your mom sees you (that you can do no wrong), and how your brother or sister sees you. Don't be guilted in to someone that is not you. So what is my hard fast rule. Other then love each other. I don't have one.
